Faculty of economics and management

Faculty of Economics and Management was founded in 2004 originally as a department management and simulation of economic processes, today is one of the major structural units of the International Humanitarian University. Since 2016 the faculty is headed by Doctor of Economics, Professor Elena Stalin.

The faculty are four departments:
• Department of Management
• Department of Economics and International Economic Relations
• Department of Computer Engineering and Innovation Technologies
• Department of Business Administration and Corporate Security

Faculty provides training in eight specialties, 3 educational level, full-time and distance learning. The Faculty of Economics and Management is training more than 600 students. Studying at the faculty are the latest techniques in classrooms with modern equipment. Students have the opportunity to work in computer classes, which are equipped with computer and various office equipment. The teachers of faculty actively uses modern teaching methods, role playing, case studies and solutions case studies, etc. The faculty used credit-modular system of educational process. According to this system and to improve the quality of education and its adaptation to European requirements, students who were training for a sufficient number of points, are exempt from the exam or test. Much attention is paid to the faculty educational work with students. The system of educational work includes legal education, national-patriotic education; environmental education, education of healthy lifestyle and aesthetic education.
Faculty trains professionals with basic knowledge and skills in economics, management information systems for small, medium, big business and the marketing, management, finance, investment and other structures.

Educational work with students includes the following sections:
• Work with curators old and Student Government;
• organizational work;
• cultural work;
• Work with students living in a dormitory.
At the beginning of the school year in all academic groups with curators elected elders. Regularly dean invites elders at the meeting to discuss various issues, matters relating to training and educational work, attendance, student performance, extracurricular activities, etc.
Considerable assistance in educational work provide the student government. The faculty, students not only learn, but also active rest. Students organized a variety of activities, excursions, discos, museums, sporting events, participation in programs on TV, recitals.
